In 2018 Emma, an ex-brewster decided to turn her knowledge of fermentation towards creating kombucha for her family.
She was lucky to have a friend with a business who was looking for a kombucha supplier and trialled it in her popular establishment.
The feedback was so favourable that Curious Kombucha was born!
From humble beginnings brewing in the kitchen at home she quickly outgrew her available space and moved into purpose built premises. This had the benefit of not only more room but allowed the kombucha to utilise local spring water. Since then she has spread the kombucha love through various markets and food and drink outlets across the south-west.
In the summer of 2020 Emma won a Gold Taste of the West Award for Raspberry & Turmeric Kombucha.
